Co-founder and ideological inspirer of Zion Almaty and Polygone projects. His international collaborations include Ragga Twins and MC No Limit.

Max is a multi-genre musician and loves to experiment with sound and different media. For instance, he extracts techno sounds from flowers, compiles compositions from clanging of Kazakh military guns, or creates audio-visual installations as those for Jerusalem Festival of Lights.

There is something fascinating in the archaic perception of the world by ear:

The whistle of the wind, the rumble of thunder, the sound of rain. Since the beginning of time, the sound has evoked many emotions. A sudden rustle of leaves in the dark spoke of danger and frightened earthly creatures. The child’s first cry evoked joy, declaring a new life on earth.

The further humanity advanced, the more sounds appeared. Each object that man created gave us a new sound in return: whether it's tapping the fingers on a keyboard or ax, clattering on wood. Sound surrounds us everywhere and keeps us mesmerized.

When creating Sound Design, we wanted to give listeners an emotion. The @abr experience helped us with that.

We collected all the sounds of the @ogonek.almaty restaurant into a specially created melody with no single extraneous sound. The sounds have been collected as ingredients, seasoned with spices, and served so that you could taste this musical dish. A track from @maxmeltser, our maestro, evokes these very sensations on the tongue: something smoky, spicy and refreshing at the same time.
