Aiym Akayeva is an illustrator from Almaty, Kazakhstan. Creativity has always been a big part of her life starting from childhood when she tried herself in various directions from music to modeling. Eventually she focused on the fine arts. She devoted 11 years to study at the Kazakh National Academy of Arts and received a degree in fashion design.

She did not stop there in her creative search and for the last few years of her studies she started to work as a production designer. For three years of work Aiym managed to achieve success in this niche and work on big projects, shows, commercials and video clips for international artists. But she understood that the filming process did not bring her pleasure and she decided to try herself in digital design. The work as a UX/UI designer opened up new opportunities for her. She decided to develop as an illustrator. So she ended up becoming an independent artist fully embodying her creative potential.

All this experience in various creative areas definitely influences the style of her work in which she reflects her vision of the world and her attitude towards it. She focuses on color and aesthetics of visual perception and strives to ensure that the viewer receives aesthetic pleasure by watching her work. The hedonistic function of art is very important for Aiym. It comes through aesthetic pleasure of viewer via various kinds of feelings, emotions and it is a key factor in spiritual development of personality.

Ekaterina Vasilenko is an illustrator from Almaty. I have been drawing since childhood. She studied at the Academy of Architecture and Construction in graphic design. She worked as a designer at a cardboard factory and with the French Consulate in Almaty, with book and commercial illustration. In 2020, her work was shortlisted for the Italian illustration competition "Emoticon" and was exhibited in Vicenza. And recently, her work successfully participated in the Lootnft Nft auction in Miami.
Katya constantly explores different techniques and styles, the feeling that you are at the very beginning of your creative path has not left you for about 10 years. All creativity partly becomes a tool for self-knowledge. She often experiments with volume, with form, trying to convey emotion and idea to the viewer with minimal means. Often she is interested in noticing, capturing images of people in the moment, here and now.
She is interested in the topics of how the environment, architecture, culture affects people. After all, nature in its original form is beautiful. Perhaps those who see more beauty in life feel happier. And in this sense, she dreams of trying to bring more beauty into this world with her work, hoping that someone will be inspired and his life will change for the better. And people will become more conscious and sensitive to themselves, loved ones, to nature, and appreciate it like any living creature.

Darion Shabbash — an artist from Almaty (Kazakhstan), lives and works in Berlin. She mainly uses plastic as a base material in her work, as a reaction to our culture of consumerism that is unscrupulously exploiting toxic materials. Plastic has become a part of our culture and everyday life, but at the same time plastic waste is thickly covering vast areas of our land and waters. All this litter accumulates but never fully dissipates, and it keeps circulating in our planet’s ecosystem.

In her work Darion continues to explore plastic, researching aesthetic and features of this material, while reflecting on the influence of plastic on our environment. Graphic lines and flat images produce their own visual reality where the eye isn’t tricked by the mimicry of realism, but is rather taken into another graphic space that has a strong connection to the artist’s graffiti and street art practices. In her video work Darion constructs a reality of utopia, where society as a whole is involved into sustainable living and a cycle of plastic recycling. The artist is involving the community in the creation of her objects — the only thing they have to do is to not dispose their plastic.

Alpamys Batyr was born in Aktyubinsk in 1988.

He graduated from American International University London, Department of Graphic Design.
Batyr has been engaged in graffiti and street art since his early years, for the last few years he has been experimenting in the field of video art and is interested in public art. In his works, the artist often addresses the topic of alternative reality where things and objects have their own energy mapping that interlocks with everything in the space dimensions.

Aziya is an artist from Kazakhstan. Visual arts are at the core of her DNA. Aziya was born in a family of artists and cinematographers. She grew up somewhere between the art studios and the theatrical backstage. Both influenced and shaped her. Throughout her life, Aziya has experimented with various forms of creativity, from music to fashion design, but painting has always been her primary interest.
The late 80s in her homeland Kazakhstan were a transition period that exuded freedom and a new way of living. The exposure to western trends that suddenly became accessible through global media, alongside her natural interest in music, fashion and arts, made Aziya become the artist she is today. The mixture of west and east was at the centre of the new world, yet a mystery to conceal and resolve. Through Aziya’s art, you will see her answers and proposals to these two sides of the coin: the rebellious and the hopeful, the anger and love, the past and the future.
She currently resides in Europe. She has a master's degree in media and communications. She also draws inspiration from this area. Particularly, merge between digital and physical fascinates Aziya the most. She embraces digital code as a raw material, new forms transcend the boundaries of the organic and the artificial, addressing unique issues of intimacy, and interaction in the computer age.
